The Asociación Colombiana de Trauma (ACT) and the Panamerican Trauma Society are pleased to invite you to attend the Silver Anniversary and the XXV Panamerican Trauma Society Congress (PTS), which will be held in Medellín, Colombia, from November 14-17, 2012. The slogan for the conference is “Quality in Trauma Care: A Universal Right”.
For the past 25 years, the Panamerican Trauma Society (PTS) has worked tirelessly to refine treatments and develop relevant research to improve the lives of trauma patients. This annual congress is the culmination of the fruits of this effort. This occasion will be an excellent opportunity to envision new perspectives in trauma care and clinical research.
We are setting up a program containing lectures in all the disciplines associated with management of trauma, pre-hospital care, emergency surgery, trauma systems, and disaster situations. This program will be enhanced by pre-congress courses (USET, ADMR, Quality Improvement for Trauma Care, Burn Care, and Research in Trauma) with the highest quality. Papers presented will stimulate important discussion and bring to the fore new developments.
Medellin is the second largest and most progressive city in Colombia. It is known by its cultural encounters, the warmth of its people and the amazing views with clear blue skies and beautiful sunsets.
